Welcome to JewellersInCity. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

Definitions

• "Platform" refers to JewellersInCity, our website, and all related services
• "User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses our Platform
• "Store Owner" refers to jewellery business owners who list their stores on our Platform
• "Content" refers to all text, images, reviews, and other materials on the Platform
• "Services" refers to all features and functionalities provided by the Platform

User Accounts

Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Use of Services

Permitted Use

You may use our Platform to:

• Search for and discover jewellery stores
• Read and write reviews
• Contact jewellery stores
• Book appointments
• Save favorite stores

Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Upload viruses or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data
• Post spam or unsolicited advertisements
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Reviews and User Content

Review Guidelines

When posting reviews, you must:

• Base reviews on your personal experience
• Be honest and accurate
• Avoid profanity, hate speech, or discriminatory language
• Not include personal information of others
• Not post content that violates intellectual property rights

Content License

By posting content on our Platform, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with our Services.

Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove, edit, or reject any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, at our sole discretion.

Store Listings

For Store Owners

If you are a jewellery store owner listing your business:

• You must provide accurate business information
• You must have the legal right to represent the business
• You are responsible for maintaining current information
• You must respond professionally to customer inquiries
• You agree to our verification process

Verification

Stores may undergo a verification process. Verified status does not constitute an endorsement but indicates that basic information has been verified. We make no guarantees about the quality or reliability of any listed store.

Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, logo, graphics, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by JewellersInCity and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit any part of the Platform without our prior written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of information
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Security of data transmission
• Results from use of the Platform

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JEWELLERSINCITY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from user interactions or transactions
• Damages from unauthorized access to your account
• Damages from errors, viruses, or service interruptions

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JewellersInCity, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you post on the Platform

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation between the parties
2. Mediation, if negotiation fails
3. Binding arbitration under the rules of the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat of arbitration shall be Mumbai, India. Proceedings shall be in English.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Subscription Plans

Subscription fees are charged in advance. We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers on their first subscription. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the initial charge by contacting support@jewellersincity.com. After 7 days, subscription fees are non-refundable.

Appointment Cancellations

Appointments booked through the platform may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment are at the discretion of the jewellery store. JewellersInCity does not process refunds for appointment-related charges between users and stores.

Featured Listings and Advertising

Payments for featured listings, promotional placements, or advertising packages are non-refundable once the listing has been activated.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for an eligible subscription, email support@jewellersincity.com with your account email, subscription ID, and reason for the refund. We will process eligible refunds within 7 business days.
