Charter Members
Programme terms
Eligibility
Any jewellery business listed on JewellersInCity may apply for charter membership at the prevailing intake. Approval requires successful claim verification (BIS hallmark or equivalent business credential).
Position assignment
Your place on the register is reserved at the moment your claim is approved by our team — not when you register or apply. Positions are sequential and cannot be reassigned.
Designation tenure
Each cohort carries its designation for a defined period (10 years for Charter Members, 24 months for Heritage Partners, 12 months for Foundation and Inaugural Partners). The designation appears on your store listing for the full tenure regardless of subscription status.
Member referrals
A member who introduces other jewellers admitted to the programme advances one cohort up the register for every two referred members. Referral credits do not apply retroactively to closed cohorts.
Intake closure
Intake closes once the 500th place is filled, or on the announced deadline, whichever is earlier. Standard pricing applies thereafter; no further charter benefits are issued.
Refunds
Subscriptions are refundable for 14 days. A member who cancels and re-subscribes within 30 days retains their position on the register.
Does it matter how I found the platform?
No. Charter membership is assigned by claim-approval order — whether you came through a Google search, a friend's recommendation, a blogger's article or an Ambassador referral, your position is identical. Affiliate-referred jewellers receive the full badge, tenure and benefits exactly as direct signups do.
